This is not your standard run of the mill Mexican food. We think Tio Pancho is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. They have the best hot, salty corn chips and fresh salsa. The pork burrito is to die for. The carne is grilled nice and tender. The shredded chicken is savory and delicious. They mix vegetables into their rice, and the refried beans have flavor to stand alone --not just a bland side dish. The restaurant is casual and inexpensive, but it's clean and the service is very friendly and efficient.

This restaurant is fantastic! As a San Diego native I have really missed my
favorite Mexican restaurant since moving to Northern Virginia. This spot hits the mark with friendly service, and really tasty food. The salsa and chips are
woonderful, the shredded beef enchiladas were generously stuffed with shredded beef, and the rice and beans are really flavorful. The mole sauce for the chicken tastes of smoky chilis and mexican chocolate. We will be returning and recommending this to everyone we know.
