We were really excited when the place opened but after we visited it,
we were disappointed. The place itself looked nice and new, the staff
was friendly and helpful. However, the main reason to go there -- the
meat, wasn't very good. It just tasted boiled. Sure they have 4 kinds
of sauces you can pick from, but that just means their meat isn't good
enough and you need to puts lots of sauce to compensate for lack of taste.
Overall, I would give the ambiance + service a 9/10 but as far as BBQ
itself goes, they only get a 4/10 from me.

I'm glad this restaurant is back. They used to be in another part of
Herndon (off of Elden Street) years ago in what is now called "Carpool".
For some reason they closed but they looked like they did a very good
business then plus they had that nice out-door patio. Anyway, I went there
a couple weeks ago and the food was as good as I remembered. The portions
are huge so be prepared to have leftovers. Also, if you like Ice Tea,
it's served in these huge glasses so there's no danger of you having to
flag down a waitress for a re-fill. I love that!

Great new restaurant! The service was fabulous and the food hit the spot.
Reasonably priced for a BBQ joint. Great for a family night out or a place
to meet friends for a drink. I would recommend Red Hot & Blue to anyone
looking for good food in a fun atmosphere.

This RH&B is sub-par compared to other RH&B in the DC area. The
staff is a little disorganized and sloppy in appearance. The decor is
gloomy. It doesn't have the same vibe as other RH&B's.We decided to
do carry-out when we saw the interior. The food was okay. Not great and
it didn't taste much like other RH&B's either. For this area, this
single restaurant wasn't worth the trip nor the money.
