Casa Maria Cafe is a Salvadorian restaurant with mostly Salvadorian employees and clientele. The menu is in both English and Spanish with many pages and pictures to accompany almost every item. They serve all the usual Central Americans specialties including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, platanos, tamales, empanadas, papusas, yuca, and much more. They have an interesting selection of soups, some of which are only available on the weekend. "House Specialties" include pork chops, liver, tongue stew, carne asada, fried fish, a few shrimp entrees and more. They also have about 8 breakfast items, which are each very large, hearty combinations. There is a full bar as well as a selection of Central American beverages. The service is friendly and welcoming. There are two televisions usually showing Hispanic programming, and a juke box, usually playing Hispanic music. Entrees are about $7- $14. Reviewed 06/05

User Review:

Very fast service with a great atmosphere! I was greeted immediately and offered either to dine in or take out. I ordered take out, and my food was promptly cooked. I was given generous proportions of food and the price of food was well worth the value. I will definitely attend this establishment again.
