Angelico is a small pizzaria serving not only pizza, but also pasta, subs, salads, calzones, buffalo wings, plus appetizers and desserts. Pizza by the slice is available. A large 14" pizza with one topping is about $13. The selection of toppings goes well beyond the standard pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms, and includes more unusual items such as spinach, artichoke, prosciutto, steak and chicken, plus much more... and 6 different types of cheese. Carry-out or delivery only. Reviewed 12/05

My family and I ordered online from Angelico's for our election night dinner. Their online website and menu is very well done and user friendly... that was the best part of the meal. The lasagna had no meat, and sat (or sank) in a pool of tomato chunks and sauce, overwhelmingly rich and the noodles were undercooked. We got the pizza as well, the crust was super thick and the bottom of the pizza was dripping in grease and soggy. The idea of their creative toppings was a great one, but the quality of their toppings was poor and sparse. The cheese had actually solidified into a thick pile of goo. The only part of the meal I did enjoy was a small greek salad, however I do not suggest using their dressing. (Very thick, almost like yogurt consistency and bland tasting) I went with olive oil and basalmic. Their serve a slice of cheese bread (almost like a slice of pizza)with the entree but this had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. It was tough, chewy and had no flavor. Sad to say, we all wished we had ordered from Papa John's over this place. We will not order from them again.

We have ordered Angelico a few times, but have never had their pizza. They have a great portobello mushroom sandwich, but I was in the mood for pasta the other night and ordered their spaghetti and meatballs. It was really bad. The pasta was chalky, the sauce was strange and I did not like the meatballs at all. I am not a very picky person, and am still willing to try out their pizza, but I would NOT suggest their pasta!

I got delivery from Angelico Pizzeria on a Saturday night. I don’t know how they got my order to me in 20 minutes, but they did. I got an Italian Calzone and the Angelico Special Pizza. Both were great, but nothing too out of the ordinary. Definitely worth a try if you are in the mood for some Italian eats. But I was more blown away by the speed of the delivery than the actual food.

I'm from Philly originally and it's always a quest to find a small store that can make a good pizza or a cheesesteak. I have yet to find a cheesesteak in Virginia that can come even close to a Philly Steak but Angelico's really hit home with their pizza. The crust is perfect, the cheese is just right and the sauce ties them both together nicely. Everyone has mentioned toppings. They are top notch, but this is the kind of pizza you can get plain or with just pepperoni in my opinion and be just as happy.I found Angelico's from a door hanger on my apt. door after work one day. I immediately called to try them out. They had just opened up here in town. Their delivery is always quick and the food is hot. I fell in love with the pizza and have been ordering it ever since. They have won my loyalty to their pie.

Simply the best pizza in Herndon. It took me nearly 10 minutes to decide my toppings, not becuase I was indecisive, but I was amazed by all the wonderful choices they had to offer. Taste was great, also a suggestion, the crust is actually a really great eat when you finish your slice. I recommend it to everyone who appreciates a great pizza pie.

I agree with the other reviewer. Angelico's is not only the best pizza in Herndon, but in my opinion the best pizza in Northern VA. Their service is always excellent too. The price looks high at first, but once you taste the fresh ingredients it all seems so worth it!

Best in the area!! So far I have had delivery twice and everything was fantastic. The pizzas, spinach and artichoke and Angelicos special, was made with real ingredients and is extremely fresh tasting. The other items, Feta pillows and Spinach and artichoke calzone, were equally fresh and fantastic. The crust is truly gourmet quality. The sauces, which there are 4 that I sampled, all had the fresh real tasting ingredients. I have not found quality like this since I have lived here. This is our new favorite and can not wait to try other menu items. ps. both delivery drivers were friendly, polite, and professional. Would refer this restaurant to all for what pizza, calzone, and other menu items should be. The pizza chains offer nothing close.

I happened upon this great pizzeria by accident while in Herndon. Now, I wish they would have one in Leesburg where I live. Thank goodness I have a friend who lives within delivery distance except now I am always at my friends house ordering their pizza! It is soooo yummy! I'd have to say one of my favs if not my new fav pizza!

So many people are calling this place "the best pizza in herndon" I had to write and say that just isnt true. It is not bad pizza but it is over priced for what it is. All and all I would say the pizza is simply bland. It is quallity pizza it just doesnt have much flavor
