Aaoji, formerly Bombay Cafe, is a small, casual cafeteria style restaurant serving Indian food and specializing in desserts. They have a small paper menu for dine-in orders that includes a choice of lamb or chicken curry dishes and several vegetarian choices. There are a few things that set Aaoji apart from other Indian restaurants: there is no lunch buffet; the curry dishes are relatively mild in comparison to other Indian restaurants; and their dessert menu is significantly larger than their menu of entrees. Meals are around $8 and you can buy desserts to go at about $6 per pound. Dozens of Indian desserts are on display for customers to browse, and the employees are happy to explain them if necessary, and even perhaps offer free samples.

Good food for a great price. Biryani, awesome naan, raita, salad, dessert
& a good serving of curry of choice for $5! And, the food doesn't
make my insides feel oil-slicked. The naan was definitely the best I've
had in any Indian restaurant so far.

It was horrible. We were excited for a new Indian
place (my family loves Indian food) but it was disgusting. The food was
old and had been sitting out for hours, at least. My mother's bindi masala
looked days old and burnt. It was hot and humid in the restaurant, and
did not look fresh and clean. I would never go back again. If you want
good Indian food, try Angeethi instead (or Masala Wok). I hated Aaoji!
Blech. :(

I ordered 2 plate samosas and believe me they were very smal..Like cocktail
samosas..I told them but no difference. In past I have had good experience
but today was so bad, that I feel I should skip going here and just maybe
try the Bombay Cafe in Lee Hwy, althought they are all the same. But I
hope they are not cutting corners this way..Pretty frustrated right now!

We've been going to Aaoji since before it was Aaoji! They make
a fantastic Papri Chaat and their Naan is to die for. Butter Chicken and
Paneer Bhurji is always a great bet. They've raised their prices some,
but still a great deal for the amounf of food they pile on!

Excellent! We choose lamb vandaloo for take out,
along with their "$6.99 for two entrees" take out. We had two
chicken dishes (butter chicken and ??), vegetable byrani, curried cauliflower,
plus a salad, naan, and, raita. Yummy food for an excellent value.

We took my daughter to Aaoji for her birthday, having never been before, and we were all very impressed! The service was great, and the food was really wonderful. The Chicken Tikka Masala was so good. Also try the Chicken Madras and of course the kheer for dessert.

Excellent food. Very home-made and authentic without being pretentious. Love there vegetables like okra and potatoes.
