Go to Friday Night Live or the Herndon Festival. The Herndon Festival is the best local summer festival with rides, food, live bands and childrens activities. Friday Night Live happens every Friday from May-Aug. The bands are sometimes good and sometimes not-so-good, but it's not necessarily all about the band. Lots of people just go to drink after work, and families go to picnic. They sell food and beer. Anywhere there is an outdoor band with beer and dancing is going to be an excellent place to people-watch! |
